Returns, Refunds & Cancellation Policy

At The Radiant Lotus, we value your time and your commitment to your healing journey. We also ask that you respect our time and the preparation that goes into every session and training course.

This policy outlines how we handle cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds for our various offerings.

1. Appointments & Healing Sessions

(Includes Sound Baths, EFT, Aromatherapy, and Private Sessions)

  • Cancellations:

    • 48-Hour Notice: If you need to cancel your appointment, please contact us at least 48 hours in advance. We will happily provide a full refund or help you reschedule for a future date.

    • Late Cancellations: Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice are non-refundable. This is because we have reserved this time specifically for you and prepared the space/materials.

  • Rescheduling:

    • You may reschedule your appointment for free up to 48 hours before your scheduled time.

    • Rescheduling requests made within the 48-hour window will be treated as a cancellation and may require a new booking fee.

  • No-Shows:

    • If you do not show up for your appointment and do not communicate with us (“No-Show”), you will be charged 100% of the session fee and no refund will be issued.

  • Late Arrivals:

    • We cannot extend your session time if you arrive late, as this impacts clients scheduled after you. Your session will end at the originally scheduled time, and the full fee will apply.

2. Therapist Training & Workshops

(Includes Sound Healing Certification and Group Workshops)

Due to the limited seating and extensive preparation required for our training courses, our policy is stricter for these events.

  • Deposits: Any non-refundable deposit paid to secure your spot is strictly non-refundable and non-transferable, as it covers our administrative and setup costs.

  • Course Cancellations by Student:

    • More than 30 days prior: You will receive a full refund of the course fee (minus the non-refundable deposit).

    • 14 to 30 days prior: You will receive a 50% refund of the course fee.

    • Less than 14 days prior: The course fee is non-refundable. At this stage, it is difficult for us to fill the vacancy.

  • Transfers: In some cases, and at our discretion, we may allow you to transfer your payment to a future training date if you have a medical emergency (proof may be required).

3. Physical Products

(Includes Essential Oil Blends, Singing Bowls, or Merchandise)

  • Returns:

    • Unopened Items: You may return unopened and unused products within 14 days of purchase for a full refund or exchange. The item must be in its original packaging.

    • Opened Items: Due to hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns on essential oils or aromatherapy products once they have been opened or the seal is broken, unless the product is defective.

  • Defective/Damaged Items:

    • If you receive a product that is damaged or defective, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving it with a photo of the damage. We will arrange a replacement or a full refund.

4. Cancellations by The Radiant Lotus

In the unlikely event that we (the provider) must cancel a session, workshop, or training due to illness, emergency, or unforeseen circumstances:

  • You will be notified immediately.

  • You will have the choice of a full refund or priority rescheduling to a new date that suits you.

    5. Processing Refunds

    • Approved refunds will be processed back to the original method of payment (e.g., credit card, bank transfer).

    • Please allow 5-10 business days for the funds to appear in your account, depending on your bank’s processing times.
